So much history and English charm in this 16th century thatched cottage! The hosts Julie and Simon are super friendly, happy to provide eating and visiting suggestions and are very responsive. Lots of good walks starting right outside the front door and the nearby pub has a friendly ambiance and decent food. We love the relaxed feel of the village and history of the house. The only downside is the bath is a long way from the bedroom and tall people need to constantly watch their head going through doorways (just like the Childe of Hale!)
