The Sandpiper was an excellent place for a relaxing break. Good standard of furnishings and well stocked everyday items. An ideal base to explore Cumbria and Lancashire. Only niggle was the main TV did not support casting from iPad although it did offer more channels than the basic five. Highly recommend for a break.

Comfortable, well equiped, accomodation on a marina by the Lancaster canal. Pub / restaurant on site about 3 miles north of Carnforth. Great location for North Lancashire, the South Lakes and Yorkshire Dales.Would strongly recommend taking a fan or two, gets very hot in the sun due to full glass frontage and glass door / big windows for ground floor bedroom.
