Ideally located for hikers and bikers, with scenic walks across the moor and picturesque cycle routes are literally on your doorstep and there are leafy woodlands to discover nearby. There is a pub, restaurant, and café in the nearest village, Llangadfan. The pretty village of Llanfair Caereinion, Welshpool, is where you’ll find village stores, pubs and a fish and chip shop and is only 10 miles away. Or the picture postcard market town of Welshpool, a perfect base for exploring the beautiful sights of mid Wales. Discover countryside canal walks, modern art, historic castles and heritage railways and microbreweries.

Had a lovely stay at Dolwen Isaf ,it was spacious and comfortable and well equipped ,beautiful scenery , children loved seeing the animals on the farm and on the drive up to the cottage .The hosts were very friendly and welcoming .The welcome basket was a lovely touch and the welsh cakes adorable.Remember to pick up some groceries on the way ,nearest supermarket is Welshpool .

Location is great if you want a get away from it holiday or if you wish to visit the great attractions that Wales have to offer. The farm location is very remote but well within easy access of the main highways. The host contacted us by email and phone to ensure we use what3words to locate the accommodation, they also advised us about the door entry process. The host Mrs Jones is extremely friendly and popped by for a chat and to confirm everything was good. The accommodation is huge and proved excellent with the space, heating and the large amount of wood for the fire. We loved staying there

We had a great stay in the cottage and everything was as it should have been. Loved the location as in the middle of nowhere exactly what we wanted! Lovely welcome hamper on arrival was a nice touch too. We got so lucky with the weather too which makes a difference Would certainly come back. Many thanks
