Positioned in the modest seaside resort of Arnside, this stunning property is perfectly placed to enjoy all the local area has to offer. This quaint village has a number of cafés serving great coffee and cake, a few independent shops to browse, a bakery and a couple of pubs serving pub grub and good ales too. If you love fish and chips, there’s the very popular local chip shop a short walk away from the apartment. To take advantage of the spectacular views with the ever changing tides across the bay, this stylish, contemporary holiday home is situated on the second floor of a substantial Edwardian Villa.
The entrance hall is spacious with a designated area to leave coats and shoes, plus a bookshelf housing books and games for your entertainment. The kitchen/diner has modern appliances for your convenience and a breakfast table from where to enjoy a morning coffee and a hearty breakfast. The living room has a wood burner and plenty of comfy seating, ideal for snuggling up in front of the Smart TV after a full day of exploring. The ’piece de resistance’ is the additional seating area in the bay window where you can simply sit and admire the stunning views of the Lakeland Fells and spectacular sunsets. The perfect spot to sit and enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple. The master bedroom with a kingsize bed is located to the front of the property and also benefits from magnificent views from the wing back chairs in the window. There’s plenty of storage behind the sliding glass wardrobe doors. Next to the master is another bedroom with a kingsize bed and storage, plus a smaller bedroom with single bed and storage. All the bedrooms are beautifully furnished and have ’Emma’ memory foam mattresses. The bathroom has the ’wow’ factor! There’s a four piece suite including a large walk-in shower with rainfall shower head, deep bath for soaking in after a day on the fells, sink, vanity unit, WC and mirror. Next to the bathroom is a utility room with washing machine for convenience. Outside is a raised decking area with garden furniture which catches the sun all day and also offers a view of the estuary through the houses.
Conveniently located between Kendal and Carnforth, the medieval market town of Milnthorpe is only a 10-minute drive away, here you can find a small supermarket, petrol station, four takeaways and three pubs. Levens Hall and Gardens is a 20-minute drive from the apartment, being famous for the world’s oldest Topiary Gardens with a wonderful café, also very popular with locals, serving delicious home cooked food. The rest of the Lake District National Park, including Bowness and Windermere, is a mere 30 minutes’ drive away, and the Yorkshire Dales, with the popular market town of Kirkby Lonsdale and the water falls at Ingleton, a similar distance.
This apartment is so homely you may never want to leave, but just in case you do, you will simply be spoilt for choice for things to see and do in this area. If you enjoy walking, you can walk to Arnside Knott from here, where you can experience the most spectacular views, some of the best sunsets have been recorded in Arnside and Silverdale.. If you’re a keen cyclist or someone who enjoys water sports, there’s a lockable storage area at the apartment to store your bikes/kayaks/paddleboards for convenience. Beach 100 yards. Extremely nice flat and we have booked to stay next year. Arnside is a nice little town with pubs, cafes, mini supermarkets and a chippy. Some nice gift shops too. A picturesquest area with the Kent estuary and surrounding hills. Good area for cycling and walking. Overall, a quiet, peaceful and relaxing area. Love it and particularly the flat!

We had a lovely stay at Ted’s Cottage .Everything had been thought of to ensure you have a comfortable stay and it was a real home from home.Great communication from the hosts who you knew would be available if you needed them. The views from were stunning and many an hour was passed looking out of the window .This is a very special place to stay and is highly recommended.
