It is ideal for those who love the great outdoors in every season with some of the best walking and cycling opportunities in Lancashire. The area invites you to enjoy birdwatching, fishing and golf too. Whilst the property enjoys a quiet rural location, it is very accessible and there is lots to see and do within easy driving distance.
Approximately 30 minutes away is the bustling market town of Clitheroe with its hilltop castle and nearby Pendle Hill or the university town of Lancaster with its aqueduct and castle. We had a lovely time and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful break. The cottage was spotles and had everything we needed, right down to a small barbecue which Leslie was kind enough to let us use! Had the most perfect few nights away relaxing and some great BBQ food Will be back!! :)
