We recently stayed at the cottage for three nights to celebrate a family member’s 80th birthday, and once again had a wonderful time. We ate in the pub one evening, which was lovely and very convenient.This wasn’t our first visit — we’ve stayed here on four previous occasions and have always really enjoyed it. The cottage is consistently comfortable, well-kept, and feels like a home away from home.It’s also perfect for dogs. They’re very well catered for, with a bed, bowls, and treats provided, and the garden is a great size and feels safe and secure.A special mention to the owner for her kindness — I accidentally left my Firestick behind and she very kindly posted it back to me. I offered to pay, but she refused, which really says a lot about the level of service and care.We’ll definitely be back again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cottage.

We really liked it here, it was big enough and clean and super dog friendly. The pub was lovely. The weather was not good do we left a day early as there was little to do. I know there is nothing we can do about the weather and that was our choice. My only qualms was that there was an oudour which lingered, probably wet dog, but I have an acute sense of smell and could not get rid of it. I could also smell it in the bedroom. Maybe its time for new carpets? Here was also a request to.puck up fog poo, which the previous occupannts ad not done and im afraid i only cleared up after my own dog. I'm not complaining at all and would go back, it was a beautiful location and the pub staff were fab!
