Fridge could be replaced as could the electric hob. Curtain has a rip in it. Bath needs attention. I got the impression that, as part of a grand property, guests just had to accept the apartment as it is. I stayed there two years before my recent visit and the critique applied then as well. However, the grounds were superb and the peace and quiet was wonderful.

A lovely relaxing holiday apartment - peaceful but within spitting distance of cafe, gallery and gift shop. Spacious grounds to wander around and ways down to the river and a from there a short walk to the Chain Bridge.

We loved the location in Paxton House, the apartment and the area, the only thing letting down the apartment was the kitchen which needs a new oven and fridge freezer.
