With off-road parking for four cars, this delightful retreat offers an ideal base for families or friends seeking to explore the glorious surrounding landscapes. Upon entering, you walk in through a porch to the open plan lounge kitchen diner. There is a separate hall with a door to access the three bedrooms so they are nice and quiet. There are two twin rooms and a family room boasting a double and single bed. The family room enjoys uninterrupted countryside views, creating a serene and harmonious start to each day.

One of the twin rooms features a large window and ample storage, while the other offers a peaceful and comfortable space for rest. All bedrooms are tastefully decorated with pictures or artwork adorning the walls, adding a personal and appealing touch. The property benefits from two identical shower rooms, each fitted with a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC, ensuring there's no queue for freshening up in the morning. Both shower rooms are enhanced by eye-catching patterned tiles in the shower and on the floor, adding a stylish and contemporary flair. The well-equipped kitchen is ready for you to prepare your favourite meals.

With elegant grey and white fixtures, wooden countertops, and a breakfast bar near the oven and hob, the kitchen invites you to whip up something delicious or pop your favourite snacks in the air fryer while enjoying the company of others. Take a short drive and discover the fascinating Crich Tramway Village Museum, a step back in time to an era of elegance, where you can ride on vintage trams, explore the old-fashioned streets and peer into the tramway museum. Also take a trip to Cromford Mill which was the first mill in the whole of the British Isles. Soak up some history at the stately National Trust - Kedleston Hall, a grand neo-classical mansion filled with art, exquisite furniture, and fascinating exhibitions as well as Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall for good days out. Alternatively, enjoy Dovedale, the first dale in the Derbyshire Dales, with the famous stepping stones and being 9 miles away.

Lying at the southern end of the Peak District, Ashbourne is a perfect example of an English market town - market place with stalls, eccentric street plan, narrow cobbled alleys, coaching inns and almshouses. In its heyday in the 18th-century, the town was a fashionable social centre, and many fine Georgian buildings remain from this period. Today the town still has much to offer in terms of restaurants and inns and is regarded as something of a haven for antique hunters - but don’t expect a bargain! For those who prefer more outdoor pursuits, the Dove and Manifold Valleys are close by and for thrill seekers Alton Towers with its exciting collection of rides and attractions is just a short drive away.
