Everything there that we needed. Lovely owner who came to see us and explain about the surrounding area and the facilities in the property. The only downside was the access to the property which was very tight but the owner had telephoned me the day before to warn us. All in all a very restful break.

Excellent location for walking holidays. Quite possible to walk from the cottage and not move the car. Host very amenable and keen to provide whatever information is required. You have to be careful entering the yard where the car parking is located as entry is narrow. Shouldnât put anyone off as it is negotiable with care. Village of Youlgrave has three pubs, two cafes and three shops and is a short drive from Bakewell and Chatsworth House, both of which are worth a visit
