We usually go for farm houses in the middle of nowhere but that means we need to get in the car everyday to get anywhere. Church cottage made a real welcome change allowing us to walk down into Bakewell in a minute or two. We have visited the area plenty of times before so it all felt very familiar. The cottage was lovely and full of quirky features. The kids loved the bean bag cave and the kitchen was full of everything we needed, allowing us to even bake a birthday cake for our youngest. Thanks Joy.

Its position was perfect for exploring Bakewell and the surrounding area. Joy, the owner, was very easy to contact and was happy to assist if needed. Would definitely book again.
