Located in the heart of Bakewell, famous for its Bakewell pudding and a local weekly market, the town provides a great base to explore this fantastic area and its many attractions. Fabulous walks, trails, golfing, rock climbing and much, much more are all within easy reach. Explore the many historic houses such as Chatsworth, Haddon and Hardwick Hall to mention but a few. Impressive caverns in nearby Castleton and Little John’s Grave in Hathersage are also well worth a visit. There is plenty to do for walkers and cyclists, with the Monsal Trail on the doorstep. Golf and fishing available nearby. Netherwood really is a superb base to enjoy all this wonderful area has to offer at any time of the year. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Fabulous holiday home which is located just a few minutes walk from Bakewell town centre. Very spacious and comfortable with some much appreciated extra touches. Catherine and Hugh are very friendly and helpful and have thought of everything.

This place is absolutely excellent- the quality of the decor is first class and so many nice touches. The best night sleep we’ve ever had. The bathrooms or just lovely with power showers. The hosts are super helpful and live next door. We really loved this place and would recommend to anyone.

Catherine was the perfect host. The place is immaculate. Communication was the best I have experienced with any Air B and B stay. Location is perfect - 2 minute walk into the centre of Bakewell I would hear again whenever posible! Rob
