This lovely ground floor accommodation is in the pretty village of Baslow and has the benefit of being 2-3 minutes walk to the famous Chatsworth Park. The property is attached to a working pottery and has a beautiful partially enclosed garden looking onto the surrounding countryside. The village of Baslow is a great base for exploring and has many good eating places. Bakewell is only 5 miles away and two of England’s oldest and most romantic houses, Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall, are only a few miles drive. The Hope Valley, a 20 minute drive, has the caves of Castleton and the dramatic Winnats Pass. Nearby Edale has outstanding views and many walks and cycle routes.

Good directions, so was easy to find, our host was very welcoming on arrival. Some nice little touches on entering milk, choclate, fruit, bodywash etc. Very cosy little cottage, perfect for Chatsworth and exploring the Peak District. Lots of books & jigsaws for those rainy days
