A beautiful cottage, perfect for romantic breaks. This pretty detached holiday cottage is nestled in the picture-perfect village of Over Haddon in the Peak District National Park.
This cosy yet spacious interior designed property has many luxury features including a spacious limestone wet room, a dressing room, boot room and a cosy wood burning stove in the sitting room. The cottage also benefits from a sunny conservatory, making it the ideal place to relax whilst immersed in the verdant English countryside.
The pretty rose garden's patio area provides a delightful spot to enjoy alfresco dining and listening to the birds sing.
Winsmore Cottage is close to the picturesque market town of Bakewell; home of the famous pudding. One of the country's oldest markets, first recorded in 1254, is held in Bakewell every Monday. Nearby is Chatsworth House, first built by Bess of Hardwick, home of the Duke of Devonshire and where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned. The cottage is superbly positioned for ramblers wanting to explore the beautiful Derbyshire countryside.

Beautiful cottage. Tastefully decorated, including for Christmas. Warm with excellent heating and very effective log burner. Perfectly equipped cottage. We didn't want to leave. Very quiet location, lovely to watch the sunrise. Excellent communication both from Rural Retreats and the owner. Very highly recommended. Couldn't fault it.

The cottage was perfect in every way, fantastic welcome pack, lovely decor, well equipped, clean and a great location, just perfect for two people with every need catered for. Couldn't of wished for more except better weather. Keep the standards up and we will be returning in the Summer.

The cottage had everything in a great location to explore. The host Scott was excellent and provided an amazing hamper on arrival. Just loved the conservatory it felt like you were sitting in the garden. I am sure we will return
