Choose Courtyard Barn for your hen party celebration and you can all eat together around the same huge table. It easily seats 20 people (and more!). There is also a dedicated Games Room with table tennis, table football, comfy sofas (even a wine/beer fridge) - and a dancefloor with disco lights to make your party perfect. Just bring an iPod/MP3 player and you can even stream your music using Spotify because there is free WiFi in the games room.

The house is situated between Buxton and Sheffield in the Derbyshire Peak District, so very accessible from all parts of the UK.

It is only 1 minute walk from The Horse & Jockey pub (with 2 others also in the village) which serves hearty meals if you don't fancy cooking. Or pre-book our Dinner Party Service where the restaurant comes to you!

Courtyard Barn is most unusual as guests enter via a door in the roof! The house is built into a hillside and you enter right at the top of the house and walk down through it, which makes for an unusual entrance and is quite spectacular when you enter for the first time!

There are a total of 8 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms (including 2 ensuite), a drying room for muddy boots and clothes, and a huge living room with log burning stove. (Note: 2 of the bedrooms, a bathroom and the Games Room are housed in a separate cottage called The Outback which is in the garden, and only 10 metres away.

Outside is an acre of land, including totally private parking, with a flat area for ball games etc. There is a also a pretty barbeque area, with views over the village.

‘We recently booked out the Courtyard Barn for a long weekend in July and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves! The property itself was easy to find and located in a small village with local stores and pubs within easy walking distance. The accommodation on offer was great with generous sized rooms and plenty of space for everyone to relax as well as socialise. The kitchen was fantastic and well stocked for large group cooking (Which I find sometimes to be a problem) it had everything in abundance and was well looked after. Would definitely recommend this venue for a large group booking of people who like the country location and relish the small village atmosphere’
