Mark Barn is a beautiful cottage, with high spec kitchen, bathroom and beautiful wooden doors and staircase. Lovely cosy living area too and our grandson enjoyed seeing the farm animals. The bottle of wine was appreciated on our arrival and a nice touch. Luckily, we had already bought milk, bread etc as it would have meant a trip out in the car as soon as we arrived otherwise.I would recommend Marl Barn, however some information about local area (ie maps/walks) would have been appreciated. We were an a little disappointed that there was no walks from the cottage. Although there is a pub and village nearby, as the accommodation is on a main road without footpaths, you do need a car to go anywhere. We enjoyed our stay in beautiful, spotlessly clean accommodation. We also appreciated the comfy beds, gorgeous bathroom, and living/kitchen area and parking was good. Thank you
Suzanne
Very high quality conversion from old building very clean with easy parking. Friendly farm cats and goats. Downside is the back wall of the barn is adjacent to a busy road. The noise disturbed our sleep. Dog owners should be aware that there is no enclosed private outside space so our dog could only go outside on a lead with us. So not ideal.
