The Old Stable is a highly praised cottage, cherished for its cosy and warm atmosphere, perfect for quiet getaways and walking holidays. Its proximity to Edale station and local walks, including challenging ones, is consistently lauded. The property's charm is enhanced by its historical features and cleanliness, although one mention of dirty utensils slightly impacts its impeccable reputation. Overall, it's a beloved spot for its comfort, location, and as a base for exploring the beautiful surroundings.
Guests generally find the cottage spotlessly clean and well-maintained, contributing to its cosy atmosphere. One isolated comment about dirty crockery and utensils suggests a minor oversight, but overall, the cleanliness is of a high standard.
The location is universally acclaimed, with guests appreciating the direct access to local walks, the proximity to Edale station, and the beautiful setting in the Peak District. It's considered an ideal spot for exploring the High Peaks and nearby villages.
The cottage is repeatedly described as cosy, warm, and comfortable, with a king-size bed and plenty of heaters. Its inviting atmosphere makes it a perfect retreat for couples or individuals seeking relaxation.
The Old Stable is well-equipped for guests' needs, with a functional kitchen and comfortable lounge area. However, there is a single mention of an oven/microwave not working properly, which suggests a slight room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.
While the reviews are positive about the property's offerings, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would fall under the category of thoughtfulness. Therefore, this score cannot be provided.
