Climb the stairs up to the first floor to discover the heart of the heart home, a spacious, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with revealed timbers and a vaulted ceiling, where you can unwind at your leisure. Should you choose to stay in for the evening, you can prepare delicious dinners for two before relaxing in front of the Smart TV and enjoying a film night after a busy day. Run a long, hot bubble bath in the elegant free-standing bath in the bathroom before enjoying a superb night’s sleep in the gorgeous, king-size bedroom. Discover plenty of pretty, short walks from Hope village or follow the 8-mile Great Ridge trail, which will see you climb to the summit of Mam Tor and cross the ridge to Lose Hill, taking in some astounding Peak District views as you go. Visit some of the dramatic caves this area is known for, including the Blue John Cavern, and spend time at the Ladybower Reservoir, in the Upper Derwent Valley, where there are circular foot and cycle routes aplenty.
