Upstairs, the sleeping arrangements offer flexibility for families and small groups. There is a double bedroom, a spacious family room with a double and single bed, and a small bedroom which is home to a single bed. The generous bathroom includes both a bath and walk-in shower, making it easy to refresh after long walks or enjoy a relaxing soak.

Central heating keeps the property comfortable throughout the year, while WiFi is available throughout the house. Guests also benefit from a designated parking space for one car.

The picturesque village of Castleton nestles in the beautiful Esk Valley, in the heart of the North York Moors National Park. Surrounded by stunning scenery, this bustling village offers superb amenities including two pubs, both serving great food, a convenience store, deli & tea rooms. There is a railway station serving the Esk Valley and Whitby, which also links with the steam line to the attractive market town of Pickering. The Camphill Village Trust community of Botton is nearby, with its craft workshops and shops selling home produced food, craft items and books. The historic city of York is just over an hour away, and the coastal towns and villages of Whitby, Staithes, Robin Hood's Bay and Sandsend with its lovely beach, are within easy driving distance, and well worth a visit.
