Pine Door is a highly praised cottage in Eyam, appreciated for its cleanliness, cosy ambience, and excellent location. Guests enjoyed the local walks, friendly community, and proximity to attractions. The cottage's well-equipped nature and homely touches contributed to a comfortable stay, despite some minor maintenance notes.
Guests consistently noted the cottage's cleanliness, describing it as 'spotless' and 'very clean', which indicates a high standard of hygiene and care.
The location is highly regarded for its beauty, interesting history, and convenience for local walks and visits to nearby attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the Peak District.
The cottage is frequently described as 'cosy' and 'comfortable', with comfortable beds and a homely feel. However, some guests mentioned steep stairs and a loose toilet seat, slightly affecting the comfort score.
The property is well-equipped and maintained, with a few minor issues such as an out-of-date carbon monoxide detector and a small fridge. The presence of a wood burner and thoughtful inclusions like maps and games were appreciated.
While many reviews mention the homely feel and well-equipped nature of the cottage, there are no specific references to gifts or special thoughtful gestures that would warrant a score in this category.

Excellent cottage beautifully decorated for Christmas and very well equipped with everything you could need Lovely to have all wood provided for woodburner which we made good use ofThe only reason it didn't get 5 stars was because mattresses on all 3 beds were a bit tired and lumpy but certainly didn't prevent us from having a wonderful time !!
