We had a wonderful week in this beautifully situated and well-appointed cottage. The natural surroundings made for a most peaceful and relaxing break, and we were blessed with amazing weather. The owners, Nick and Sarah, were really helpful and friendly, and left us some delicious welcome gifts, which were much appreciated after a tiring journey. The cottage was very comfortable, with high quality furnishings, and tastefully decorated. It is quite remote, but once we had mastered the access road, this did not present any problems, and we loved being immersed in nature. We will certainly return.

We have stayed in a lot of holiday homes and Picdick Stable is one of the very best that we have found. It was very well equipped, immaculate and very clean. Despite the fact we stayed in January it was very warm and comfortable. Nick and Sarah were perfect hosts. There was a lovely welcome pack of delicious fresh home made scones with jam and cream as well as orange juice, milk, and fizz in the fridge. The vase of fresh roses was also a really lovely gesture. There is plenty of wildlife to see from the comfort of the cottage and we would love to visit again in the spring or summer when we could take advantage of the garden. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pickdick Stable.
