Solent Retreat offers a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Quietly tucked away down a no-through unmade track, it is perfectly positioned for a coastal break, yet is only a short drive to the New Forest National Park. This simple wooden lodge can accommodate up to 3 guests and 1 small dog. The tranquil courtyard garden has a deep pond with a gentle fountain and is a real haven for birds and wildlife; a wonderful spot to relax at the end of a busy day exploring.
Calshot is located at the west corner of Southampton Water where it joins the Solent. The shingle beach offers far-reaching views to the Isle of Wight, and is popular with water-sports enthusiasts. The nearby Activities Centre offers a wide range of water and land based activities, including a climbing complex, indoor velodrome and a dry ski slope. Other local attractions are Lepe Country Park and the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu.
Please note WiFi is not available at Solent Retreat. The cottage is not suitable for children under the age of 8 years old due to the deep pond.
