The Saddle Room in Fordingbridge is consistently praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and comprehensive facilities. Guests appreciate the peaceful farm setting, the proximity to local attractions, and the thoughtful touches from the hosts. While most find it a relaxing home away from home, a few noted the settee and bed comfort could be improved.
Guests frequently mention the spotless condition of the Saddle Room, indicating a high level of cleanliness that contributes to the overall pleasant experience.
The property is commended for its lovely surroundings and convenient location, with easy access to nearby towns and attractions, though the village itself is described as small with limited activities.
The majority of guests find the Saddle Room comfortable, highlighting the cosy log fire and comfortable bed. However, some guests suggest that the settee and bed could be more comfortable, which slightly affects the score.
Reviews indicate that the cottage is well-equipped and guests are generally satisfied with the facilities. The mention of a wood burner and a well-stocked kitchen contribute positively, although one comment about poor DAB radio signal and an over-complicated TV suggests room for improvement.
Several reviews note the thoughtful gestures, such as free logs for the fire and shortbread and milk on arrival. While these are appreciated, it is important to note that such gifts are not guaranteed and may vary.

Cosy and warm for a Christmas for two. Lovely wood burner and log supply. Excellent local walks onto Matin AOAB and short drive to NW corner of the New Forest. The only 'downside', which has nothing to do with the Saddle Room, is the very poor DAB radio sigal,. We took two radios (the only one in the Saddle room is on the over-complicated TV) but could recieve no DAB signal.

The Saddle Room was a lovely relaxing place to stay, clean, comfy and had everything that you could possibly need. The log fire was great and the free logs were a bonus.
