Lymington Lodge is praised for its peaceful and beautiful setting, ideal for relaxation and nature enthusiasts. Guests appreciate the tranquil gardens, the proximity to walks and the town, and the lodge's quirky charm. While some minor issues are noted, the overall experience is positive, with special mentions of the welcoming touches like fresh flowers and fruit from the orchard.
There is insufficient information in the reviews to accurately assess the cleanliness of the property.
The location is highly regarded for its proximity to nature reserves, walking routes, and the town of Lymington. Guests enjoy the peacefulness and the ease of access to local attractions.
The lodge is generally considered comfortable with a calm atmosphere and a wood burning stove for warmth. However, some guests found the sofa uncomfortable and the feather duvet lumpy, which slightly affected the comfort level.
Facilities are appreciated, such as the wet room with powerful showers and the dishwasher. However, guests noted a lack of practical kitchen accessories, unclear instructions for the log burner and heating, and a desire for more local information.
Guests feel welcomed by thoughtful gestures like fresh flowers, fruit from the orchard, and occasionally bubbly. It's noted that such gifts add to the experience, though they are kindly mentioned as not guaranteed.

Unfortunately my holiday was cut short due to bereavement. What I saw in the short time after arrival was really good, a lovely peaceful setting 🙂Ideal for a relaxing break.

Lymington Lodge is located close to the nature reserves. In 5 minutes you can be walking along the water to either Lymington or Keyhaven. It’s a great location for anyone who enjoys walking, birdwatching or boats. The lodge is very quiet, located in a large garden. The bedroom, lounge and kitchen are all in one large room. This is heated by a wood burning stove which warms the room up quickly on cool nights. The bathroom is a full wet room with choice of 2 powerful shower heads (overhead or hand held) A good place to stay in a great location.

We loved the quirkiness of the lodge and the location was amazing but we couldn’t quite put our finger on why we would not go back as the place is quite delightful. The following feedback is intended to be constructive. For us, the sofa was uncomfortable but we managed by using the armchair and the bed. We slept really well despite the feather duvet being very lumpy. There was no information on how to use the log burner, heating or towel rail. The groundsman was around the property to ask and was very pleasant and helpful., but we had to find him. It would just have been helpful if this information had been on the table when we arrived. Apart from local pubs there was little information on places to visit. Dishwasher was great but when we washed up by hand which we had to on occasion as the kitchen accessories were a little eclectic, (eg loads of glasses, but only four mugs and two very large cereal bowls) there was no drainer/draining board and no oven gloves for the oven. Shelves in the huge half empty floor to ceiling cupboard could have provided space for a few more practical kitchen accessories. There was no guest book for us to leave our feedback. (Despite a note in the welcome info to leave feedback). We would recommend Lymington Lodge but have to point out all the little things that made our stay ‘good’ but not ‘amazing.’ The bathroom was excellent, The dogs were gorgeous, the fruit from the orchard fabulous and fresh flowers on the table were beautiful and despite changeable weather we had a lovely holiday. thank you also for the bubbly.
