Everything you could need for an enjoyable stay. Great hamper with lots of useful goodies. Owners were very friendly and helpful and arrived promptly with additional lighting during a power cut. Thank you. Ideal place to explore the coast and New Forest. A very vibrant, pretty village with pubs and eating places for all tastes. We would return.

The property was around 5 minutes walk to the village where there was a selection of shops, bars and places to eat. The welcome pack was lovely.

22/9 - 6/10/2023. This is a small, cosy annex in this delightful village. The owners, Nicky and Roger, are perfect hosts - very friendly, unobtrusive but on hand if needed. The annex is ideally located in the centre of the village, with short walks to several pubs/restaurants, shops, and the beach. Especially recommended is the 15min walk to Keyhaven, with its marina, Hurst castle and the salt flats, home to a number of species of wading birds. In the opposite direction is Barton-on-Sea and Mudeford, whilst inland it is only a short drive to the New Forest. Alternatively, there is an excellent bus service and coach tours around the forest during the peak holiday season.
