Built of oak and timber, it has an air of relaxed elegance and offers a wealth of features including a vaulted ceiling, exposed beams, spiral staircase and wood-burning stove, as well as extras such as Egyptian cotton sheets. Located in the grounds of the main cottage, it provides a perfect base for exploring the New Forest’s many delights. The market town of Ringwood is a 6-minute drive where all facilities can be found, with handsome Georgian buildings. Sandy beaches lie 8 miles away and sailing and surfing can also be enjoyed. Shop and pubs ¾ mile.

The Barn was such a special place to visit. Rachel is the perfect host, helpful, kind and thoughtful about all the little touches. My daughter and I had the most wonderful few days here and we hope to come back again soon.

The Barn is a lovely place to stay for a holiday, Rachel who was our contact for the Barn was helpful and had left us lots of goodies for us on arrival The Barn had everything that we required to see us through the week My only criticism of the Barn and this is purely on a personal opinion is that I found the bed to be quite low and I found it difficult to get out of the bed, my partner had no difficulty at all, I am 68 years old and not as nimble as I once was, otherwise the Barn was pretty much perfect
