The Stables is the perfect peaceful getaway that offers 5 star luxury in spacious accommodation and offers far reaching views across our South Downs National Park. has been renovated to the highest standard with gorgeous touches in every room. From the stunning marble bathroom with couple's sinks, to the oak flooring and designer kitchen, you will feel as if you are in a luxurious cocoon for two.

West Meon is nestled within the South Downs National Park in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's bursting with charming features including a pretty church and the visible ruins of a large Roman villa. The village pub, The Thomas Lord, makes West Meon popular with locals and visitors alike, and there is a welcoming sense of community.

The Meon Valley is a hidden treasure tucked away in one of the prettiest areas of England, and West Meon is arguably its most precious jewel. There is a wealth of excellent footpaths, cycling trails and bridleways that traverse the area including the Monarch's Way, Pilgrim's Trail, the South Downs Way and Wayfarer's Walk. You can find half a dozen golf courses, including the historic Royal Winchester Golf Club, within a 30-minute drive.

If you feel like a day trip, Winchester, Portsmouth, and the New Forest are all within easy reach. Don't be surprised, though, if you feel like doing nothing more energetic than to go for a swim, or sit back and admire the far-reaching views of the surrounding countryside with a glass of wine from one of the South Downs' excellent vineyards.

The Stables is a Five Star Gold property with ample space for a couple. It is all on one level and has been designed with accessibility in mind.

Outside: There is a private patio with garden furniture, and a garden of approximately half an acre. There is also private off-road parking.

Additional information: WiFi is available throughout the property. All bedding, linen and towels are provided and included in the price, along with electricity. Short breaks may be available through prior arrangement with the owner. A lovely touch is the welcome pack bursting with freshly baked goodies, tea and coffee, milk, and chocolates waiting for you in the kitchen. Sorry but no dogs. Facilities are available to accommodate horses should you want to bring yours.
