Be welcomed by the open-plan living space, where you can unwind on the plush sofas, prepare meals, and gather as the wine is poured and the conversions flow over dinner. If the weather allows, make the most of the enclosed patio, where you can dine alfresco as your furry companion roams freely in the sunshine. Return indoors to complete your nightly routine in the shower room, before selecting between three well-appointed bedrooms, including two king-size (zip/link), and a single. Awaken to a fresh coffee in the suntrap conservatory, before heading into the town to dine out, stock up on the essentials, visit Cowes Golf Course, people watch at Cowes Harbour Shepards Marina, enjoy a seaside stroll along Gurnard Bay, or brush up on your local knowledge at East Cowes Heritage Centre. The bustling port of Cowes is situated by the mouth of the river Medina, and is divided into two distinct towns, linked by the regular floating bridge chain ferry. Both communities have much to offer visitors, with West Cowes known as a world famous yachting centre, with superb facilities for all kinds of watersports, as well as being considered the cycling gateway to the island with the National Cycle Route 23 running through it. It also has a beach and a wealth of excellent restaurants, inns, and plenty of interesting niche shops; there is something for everyone with a fabulous vibe. East Cowes is best known for Osborne House, Queen Victoria’s Italian style country retreat - a tour of the sumptuous royal apartments and magnificent gardens is a must. Cowes is an ideal base for exploring the rest of the island, such as sandy beaches, lovely walking country, picturesque chines and many family attractions such as the The Needles and the Isle of Wight music festival.

Golf course is 4 minutes walk away.

    Everything catered for and good heating .Second bedroom needs a bedside table but hardly any space! Car space at the side quite tight and nasty in the dark. Space to front not really useful as a car parked opposite means no one can pass.

    The downstairs area and new kitchen (and new appliances) are great. Lovely outside space - perfect for the dog. Only downsides were as follows. (1) Listing states private driveway. This is not the case, there is a small space to the side of the property, but this was difficult to access in a larger car owing to the number of other cars parked alongside here. This should not be listed as a private driveway. (2) A few essentials missing which you would expect to be present in a self catering property - Baking Trays for Oven, Dustpan and Brush, Hairdryer, Ironing Board, More hangers in wardrobes. (3) Upstairs was a bit of a let down compared to downstairs. Some modernisation is needed to bring the property to the same standard upstairs and downstairs.

    Plenty of room for the 5 of us & 2 dogs.. Would love to come in the summer to get more use of the garden. Comfortable beds as well. Really really happy with our stay.
