Sliding glass doors open out onto a large private terrace, ideal for al fresco dining, entertaining or just relaxing on a sun lounger and watch the sailing events like Cowes Week and the Round the Island Race.
When it’s time to head to bed after a busy day enjoying the lively resort of Cowes, you’ll find a welcoming kingsize Harrison bed in the master bedroom (can be made up as twin beds). Perfect for those leisurely lie ins while you decide how to spend your day, this bedroom has an en-suite shower room for a little extra privacy, complete with a Hansgrohe rainfall shower. The second bedroom can be configured to offer twin Harrison beds or one kingsize, so this apartment is perfect for a family break or an escape with friends.
This apartment is just a few minutes’ walk from the historic and vibrant town of Cowes and the ferry terminal. Cowes offers a variety of lively bars, restaurants and boutique shops on the doorstep, and Cowes Week is the oldest and most celebrated sailing regatta in the world with spectacular racing, fireworks and aerial displays.

If you want to be in Cowes, then this really is a great location. Having your own car park is a great advantage, although a little tight to manoeuvre. The apartment has a clear view onto the Solent and the day can pass easily just watching the shipping movements, be it the ferries, yachts or cruise liners. Cowes itself has plenty of shops and a good choice of places to eat, even in the off season. Getting around and about the Island is easy even if you don't have a car as the bus goes from central Cowes to Newport and from there to wherever you fancy. Or just pop over on the chain ferry to East Cowes and move on from there.Solent View is very comfortable and as we visited at a very cold New Year, lovely and warm. I wouldn't change very much but just a couple of tweeks would make it even better. The microwave has to come out of the cupboard to use so a proper place for it would be a help, the dinner plates are rather small and a welcome pack would be a nice touch.

Great place and location, good secure parking for two cars. Met by the owner's rep at check-in which was great. Good facilities and equipment, excellent views of the Solent and Southampton Water, great for ship lovers! We really enjoyed our time at Solent View and will return!
