Coastguard cottage is a beautiful little cottage close to the beach . Really well equipped and extras like hand soap , tea towels, extra towels was really welcoming . Cottage was very clean , comfortable and lovely front and back garden with ample garden furniture. The owners were super helpful when we had an issue with the shower but resolved really quickly and with no hassle. We really appreciated their goodwill gesture which was not necessary but a lovely treat . Would definitely recommend staying here . Beach is 3 min walk and cafe / bar within 3 min walk . Loved our week in the cottage

Lovely Cottage in a great quiet location. Cottage itself was well equipped and comfortable and highly recommended with easy access to small cafe and quiet bay which was great for swimming / SUP as was so calm. Great local walks and bus stop at end of lane provides ease access to other towns / attractions. Whilst no fault of the hosts , access was the only slight concern as the lane to the rear of the cottage was overgrown which wouldn’t affect a car but if you have a camper or van you’ll cop some scratches.Hosts were absolutely lovely and the information pack very useful. Will definitely be returning. Thank you.

The cottage could be superb!! Its location is good ish. The rear parking very poor with extremely bumpy lane and a profusion of overgrown and sharp bushes!Unfortunately the same must be said for the rear garden. !!the path was unusable with vegetation!!! I cut a significant amount awayGarden furniture was very dirty cleaned by myself I think the stairs should be mentioned they are steep and have a small step area, they turn at the top to the left and right downstairs this needs a hand rail to the right going up at the bottom Plenty of cobwebs aboundThe front porch and entrance is unfinished and dust is everywhere surely a lick of emulsion??We enjoyed our iow stay a little TLC IS REQUIRED
