Seaview is a scenic coastal village sitting on the eastern side of Ryde town. A unique and desirable village with extensive views across the sea and Solent, it has a reputation as an upmarket seaside village. Seaview is a busy tourist destination during the spring and summer months due to its beautiful sandy beaches, water sports and sailing activities.

Springvale beach offers the best of these stunning views right across the Solent to Southsea, Portsmouth, the famed Spinnaker Tower and of course the Solent Forts sat in the middle of this busy nautical channel. To the rear of Springvale is Puckpool Park, which has been constructed within a former Victorian fortification Battery, with mini-golf, tennis courts, a children’s play area and beautiful and truly unique gardens to explore. Seaview beach is an ideal launch platform for boats and water sports, and there is a yacht club down on its front.

There are some very well-regarded eateries in Seaview, and the nearby area boasts a good variety of gastro pubs and restaurants offering a delightful range of food and drink, as well as a café near Puckpool Park.
