The cabin and surrounding areaThe pictures of the cabin do not represent the actual cabin in reality, the hot tub is outside the cabin on a small decking, the pictures show the tub in a large green area which I was lead to believe this was the private garden, you have the private decking the rest is shared, when booked we were informed there was a pub with food available approx a mile away, when we got there we were told it was over two miles, it was not easy to find and it did not do food, the lanes are very narrow and you could take your life into your own hands if you walked through them as there is no lighting. If your not a confident driver it would be difficult, ( in the summer may be different) the inside of the cabin all I can say it needs deep clean my husband was fixing the curtains on hooks by the door and I was cleaning some of the window panes and the coffee table was very sticky so I cleaned that as well, lots of cobwebs. I cook in the evenings as there was nowhere locally to for food that we were aware of, but the first meal I did I had to clean two of the frying pans due to food and burnt something on them, there was also food left on a plates and bowl, which made look at the cutlery, I’m not blaming the host of the cabin for this as people should have some respect.The up side it was peaceful which is what we wanted, the shared grounds were tidy, a nice touch with the chocolate cake and wine, the water was hot and for the time of year we had good weather and we had a couple of nice days in Canterbury and hythe
