Guests say

The Honey House receives high praise for its immaculate cleanliness, peaceful and convenient location, and well-equipped, cosy accommodation. Guests particularly appreciate the secure outdoor spaces for dogs, the friendly presence of goats, and the warm welcome from the owner. Many mention the thoughtful touches and the relaxing atmosphere, making it ideal for couples and pet owners seeking a quiet countryside retreat. While a few guests found the bed too firm and noted minor issues with WiFi and garden views, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests returning for repeat stays.

Cleanliness is consistently highlighted, with numerous guests describing the property as 'spotlessly clean', 'immaculately clean', and 'cleaned to a very high standard'. Only one review mentioned a desire for a deeper clean in some areas, but this was a rare exception.

The location is frequently praised for its peacefulness, proximity to Sandwich and local attractions, and suitability as a base for exploring Kent. Guests appreciate the quiet countryside setting, though a few mention the lack of footpaths and the need to drive to amenities.

Most guests found the cottage comfortable and cosy, with positive remarks about the layout and facilities. However, several reviews mention the bed being too firm for their preference, and a couple of guests noted the seating could be improved.

The property is described as well-equipped, with modern conveniences, secure dog paddock, and good parking. Minor suggestions include improved WiFi, more garden plants, and an EV charging point, but overall guests felt nothing was lacking for an enjoyable stay.

Guests frequently mention a welcome pack or hamper on arrival, and appreciate the owner's helpfulness and attention to detail. Please note that while many guests received gifts, these are not guaranteed for every stay.

A lovely property that was spotlessly clean with everything that you could need for a very comfortable stay. The courtyard is totally enclosed, so perfect for our dogs and the addition of a small field, which was just for the Honey House guests use, was a perfect place to let the dogs have some off lead time.
