Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Recently renovated in 2022, this charming bungalow is set within the owners’ 3½-acre grounds and has some stunning garden views. The property is a two-bed property which has been finished and furnished to a very high standard offering a luxurious place to stay for all. Boughton Monchelsea is situated on the outskirts of Maidstone not far from Leeds Castle and Maidstone Centre which has a large variety of shops, cafés, bars, and restaurants suitable for all ages. In the surrounding areas there are plenty of country walks and cycling routes as well as traditional country pubs to stop at for a drink or lunch/dinner.
If you are interested in a semi-rural area in the heart of the garden of England this property makes an ideal base for a walking or touring holiday in Kent. Leeds Castle is just 10 minutes away. Whilst only 40 miles from Central London the beaches at Whitstable & Camber Sands are also only a short drive. Within easy reach are Canterbury, Rye, Rochester & Tunbridge Wells as are numerous National Trust properties (Chartwell, Knole, Sissinghurst, Scotney Castle & Bodiam).

Fantastic place to stay, warm and cosy, also peaceful and private. The host was super friendly, meeting me just after arrival to make sure everything was okay. Loved it

A very comfortable stay, very cosy with everything you need. Very accommodating for additional vehicles in our party. I would recommend bringing torches as the local area is unlit at night. As a result it was tricky to find the property initially in the dark, perhaps a what3words address may help locate it a bit more easily? Would come again.

Wij komen zeker nog een keertje terug! Nigel en Jeanette zijn fantastisch lieve en behulpzame hosts. Door wegenwerken in de buurt was het wat zoeken naar de locatie, maar Nigel had ons al een berichtje gestuurd met instructies. Wij waren voornamelijk komen logeren om op bezoek te gaan bij ons kersverse neefje, maar hebben ook ontzettend genoten van de omgeving. Buttercups goat sanctuary, op 5 van de cottage, is zeker een aanrader om te gaan bezoeken. Verder hebben Nigel en Jeanette een hele map voorzien met winkels, restaurants, activiteiten, vanalles in de buurt te doen. De cottage zelf was perfect! Heel proper en gezellig ingericht. Wij onthouden dit plekje voor als we nog eens op bezoek komen!
