The Cottage at Harple Farm is frequently described as a charming and cosy property with a secure garden, ideal for dog owners and those seeking a peaceful getaway. Guests appreciate the comfortable beds, the beautiful location, and the welcoming touches from the owner. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
Most guests found the cottage to be clean and cosy. However, there were a few instances where guests reported having to clean kitchenware before use, which suggests room for improvement in this area.
The location is highly praised for its beauty and convenience for walking and exploring the local area. The proximity to a good pub and the peaceful setting contribute to a high score, despite one mention of motorway noise.
Guests frequently mention the comfortable beds and the cosy atmosphere of the cottage. There is a single complaint about an uncomfortable sofa and mattresses, but the majority of feedback is positive regarding comfort.
The cottage is well-equipped according to most guests, with good WiFi and smart TV. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as a non-working outdoor light, overgrown garden, and rusty barbecue equipment, which lowers the score.
While some guests mention receiving welcome gifts such as bread, butter, milk, and wine, there is not enough consistent information about the thoughtfulness of such gestures to provide a score. It should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and not guaranteed.

Our time at the Cottage was really enjoyable, it has a lovely secure garden for the dogs to run round, two very friendly horses in the field behind, and a lovely walk through to Boxley. It’s also close to main roads so you can access anywhere you wish to visit easily. The inside was comfortable and warm, with the added ambiance of having Christmas Decorations up. The kitchen is well equipped so we were able to cook our Christmas Dinner with ease. All in all a wonderful week.

Amazing cottage. Full of little quirks you would expect from a period cottage: We did not use the wood burner but would imagine it would heat the cottage nicely. Central heating goods Two good showers Cottage was spotles. Good WiFi and having smart tv is a nice touch. Will definitely keep on my list for the next time Im in the area.
