Markbeech is a lovely village on the northern fringe of Kent's High Weald aonb. The community has a country pub and a farm shop, perfect for enjoying a countryside getaway. Royal Tunbridge Wells is nearby and noted for its gorgeous architecture, majestic manor homes, and lush rolling countryside. Tunbridge Wells also offers shopping, restaurants, and supermarkets for the basics. Hever Castle & Gardens, a 13th-century castle with picturesque gardens, is also nearby, as well as Chiddingstone Village, noted for its Tudor architecture and half-timbered buildings. Markbeech is a great Kent base.
