Just a short stroll from Parade Annex lies Greatstone Beach, a two-mile stretch of sandy shoreline perfect for sunbathing, swimming, or engaging in water sports like kite surfing and land yachting.
The beach is undergoing a £1.5 million renovation, set to include 93 colourful beach huts, a visitor hub with accessible amenities, and a café kiosk, enhancing its appeal as a holiday destination. For a unique experience, visit the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway, a historic miniature steam railway offering scenic rides through the area’s picturesque landscapes.

A good sized well presented property. Ideal for a couple or single occupants. Very clean and everything needed to make a comfortable stay. I was on a work trip so no time to take in the local area but I was able to work in peace and quiet. I would stay again.

We are a family of two adults and two children (ages 8 and 11) and had a wonderful time during our stay in Greatstone. The property is extremely clean, very well-equipped, and perfectly located just a few steps from the beach, with supermarkets nearby. The garden is huge, with a lovely fish pond, and we were delighted by a very special surprise Rosie, the hosts 6-month-old dog, who is super friendly and adorable. Anne and Lee were exceptional hosts throughout our stay, and we couldnt have chosen a better place. Our only concern was the internet connection, which seems to be an isue acros the whole area. Our 5G (O2) didnt work at all, and the local broadband connection is unstable in several spots. Aside from that, everything was perfect, and we would definitely love to return!
