We had a restful and happy 2 night stay at Lekido. I stayed with two older teenagers who appreciated the excellent wifi and fell in love with the animals. We really loved the no-pressure option to help care for the animals (helping letting the animals out and feeding at 7.30am), and they are clearly so well loved and cared for as they responded so gently with us being around. We enjoyed sitting on the deck surrounded by sheep, ducks and the goats. Watching their behaviour and animal antics. And having cuddles with Butters (the tiniest most adorable baby goat). We were definitely joking when we said we’d actually have pet goats in our London garden after this holiday but we so enjoyed them being in our holiday garden!! Farmer Ian was so kind and so attentive (even giving us a lift to the train station) but also sensitive to my ND teenagers and their needs and how to engage them in a low-key way (my son didn’t say much but looked for eggs, fed chickens, filled up hay happily). We all loved the little cabin house (looks like a Lego house to me, kids said Minecraft house) and the loft bedroom added to the magic. The kitchen was very well equipped and fresh apple juice and eggs delicious! Note it is a fairly busy farm though and the cottage is in the middle of it, we met friendly neighbours and visitors, it’s obviously a very loved part of the community. We also appreciated that it was close to Faversham and for food deliveries/uber eats (teens!)Thank you for a lovely stay, we have told everybody we know to book. My son said ‘mum, how did you FIND this?’ - which sums it up. A different kind of holiday but everything I’d hoped for, and more than we expected.

Highly recommend Lekido! From the time I booked everything was amazing and we felt so welcomed. A huge testament to the brilliant stay we had with Ian, Nikki and family is my 14 year son cried when he left (plus most the two hour journey home), he had an amazing stay and was so sad to leave. He now proudly has his certificate framed in his room. Ian, Nikki and family (and the animals) are brilliant hosts and take time to make sure the stay is extra special. The cabin is cosy well equipped and the beds are super comfortable. The views are really special. I miss washing up and watching the goats and sheep wander pass the window. Thank you for our lovely stay, see you soon!
