Poppy Lodge boasts the most wonderful outdoor space with a manicured garden, rattan dining furniture to enjoy alfresco dining and a hot tub ready for relaxation. Being a pet friendly property, the enclosed garden is a fantastic place for your dog to play. Comfortably sleeping two guests in the double bedroom. When you’re not chilling out in the garden or the hot tub, for entertainment there is a large Smart television with DVD player in the living room and a smaller television in the bedroom. Poppy Lodge also benefits from free Wi-Fi. The cute village of Minster can be reached 1 mile away where you are presented with all you need. There are pubs, restaurants, bakers, local convenience stores, takeaway food outlets, a library, pharmacy and more. For beach lovers, within a short drive from Poppy Lodge you will reach some of the stunning Kent beaches and bays of Ramsgate, Sandwich and Broadstairs. This was our fourth visit to Poppy Lodge, and as usual we had a lovely, restful break.We enjoy staying out of season to take advantage of being able to take dog walks along the beach - Minnis Bay is a favourite.As always we have experienced some great weather and have been able to take advantage of the hot tub and sitting in the garden to read.The kitchen is small, yet functional. Although we have taken advantage of a few of the dog friendly pubs in the area.

Great secluded location.Lodge was clean and outside space was good for the dog. Hot tub was ok but showing its age. Lounge was comfortable along with the bed.The bed does fill up the bedroom as there is limited space to walk along the end of the bed.Please be aware there is no oven! It was advertised as having a combined microwave / oven / grill, however it’s just a microwave. This meant we couldn’t cook a lot of the food we took and had to order a takeaway on the first night. The following day we had to go out and buy food that could be cooked in a microwave or in a saucepan. There is also no freezer compartment in the fridge.

This was our 4th visit to Poppy Lodge. We have come every year since becoming Dog parents. This is our dogs holiday and he loves it. A short drive to the beach or Pegwell park. It’s a peaceful retreat with a little treat for the grown ups (hot tub!)
