There are local vineyards offering tours and tastings locally and if you’re looking for a sandy beach, head for Camber Sands, 18 miles away, with its 7 miles of golden sands. Historic Rye with its famous cobbled streets, is a 15-mile drive and is an excellent location for some antique shopping and it also has a digital Kino cinema.
