The Sunset Retreat, renovated in 2021, has been extended and finished to a very high standard always with the guests needs in mind. The views from the living room are beautiful and is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day exploring. The property is right on a great cycle route and with the owner offering a cycle store, it’s a great way to explore this beautiful part of the country. You are surrounded by fields and countryside where you can discover lots of walks from your doorstep.
Situated between the Historic town of Banbury and Shipston Upon Stour which are both great places to visit for a range of shops, pubs and restaurants. Other places within easy driving distance is Stratford-upon-Avon (Shakespeare’s birthplace) where you can visit the many attractions including Shakespeare’s birthplace, Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, see a plat at the Royal Shakespeare Company Theatre or take a boat trip on the River Avon. Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the Wold, Broadway and Chipping Norton are all within 18 miles. Amongst other places to visit are the Hook Norton Brewery, Cotswold Distillery, Rollright Stones, Broughton Castle, Compton Verney, National Motor Museum at Gaydon, Silverstone, Warwick Castle, Batsford Arboretum and Falconry Centre, The National Herb Centre, Blenheim Palace, Burford, Woodstock, Oxford and Cheltenham. National Trust properties nearby include Chastleton House, Charlecote Park, Upton House, Hidcote and Snowshill Manor.
