This felt like a new holiday let as it was let down by having no welcome pack/info folder of accomodation details like wifi code/password/where to park..etc..or info on local & surrounding area. We have been to many UK holiday lets & felt it was one lacking in some personal touches & all very plain & basic. It was clean & comfy but it would have been a tight fit for 4 adults. Great location but with a few more welcoming touches (some framed art on the walls?) A few basic food items (we usually find milk in the fridge, a loaf of bread, biscuits, even a bottle of wine in some places. A work in progress perhaps..as there was a clock that wasn't even hung on the wall but stored under the tv? Could do better?

We used local transport and we were able to access surrounding areas with direct buses, if you take a car the house has its own parking. . The House is lovely and clean and well equipped with necessities. Plenty if places to eat out etc. Ensuite has shower and washbasin but the only toilet is in the bathroom . We didn’t have any issues but we spoke to the contact on the phone prior to arrival and she seemed to be happy for us to contact her at anytime during our stay. I would recommend this cottage. We visited boughton on water, chipping camden, mortane on marsh, stow on the wold and oxford - all lovely .The fox in chipping norton provided a lovely roast on sunday and we returned for a meal in the week . The cottage is very close to an aldi and other supermarkets are in the village so there are no problems there. Take yourl own books, games or puzzles as there are none of these at the cottage
