Had a truly peaceful and relaxing long weekend at the Shepherds Hut. Multiple long walks possible straight from the front door, including a lovely trek up to Devils Punchbowl and back.Other places to walk the dog are Bourne Woods, Hankley Common, Thursley Nature reserve. Sure I've missed some out.Hut had everything I needed for a few days away with the dog - lovely enclosed garden area as well so he wasn't on a lead the whole time.Friendly host and I'd recommend the Hut to anyone.

PERFECT!! Amazing walks, history everywhere, spotles hut Shepherd Hut at Thursley is an absolute gem. The area is stunning surrounded by beautiful nature, peaceful trails, rich history, and great local pubs. Its the kind of place where you step outside and immediately feel calmer. The hut itself is cosy, spotles, and really well equipped. You can tell a lot of care has gone into making it comfortable. Sally, the owner, is incredibly friendly, approachable, and genuinely accommodating she makes the stay feel personal in the best way. A lovely bonus is the little family of horses, a pony, and a donkey who wander nearby and keep you company. My dog and I were on our second visit, and the place just keeps giving. Its superb, and we couldnt recommend it highly enough. 10/10 N/A

I had a lovely few days here enjoying the peace and quiet that the Shepherd's hut offers. My dog and I were very comfortable and enjoyed exploring the local area. The hut was well equipped and we felt welcomed by the owners. In spite of terrible weather we were warm and cosy with the wood burner. We look forward to visiting again soon
