Just returned from a 5 night stay at Hillview. A perfect place to stay for a rural getaway. The hosts kept in contact with us and were only a phone call away should we have needed them, but totally respected our privacy. Hillview had everything you need for your stay, the bed and sofa were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The views were beautiful, it was lovely to be able to open the doors fully and watch the cows and the horses. After long days of sightseeing we thoroughly enjoyed using the sauna and hot tub and then visiting The Fox Inn for a meal in the evening. We will definitely be returning again and stay longer next time.

Just back from a great week at Hillview. The house was in a peaceful area with everything you need for a relaxing break. We especially liked the Hot Tub using it every night after sightseeing in the area watching the stars and the wee visits from the friendly cows. The owner had supplied fans in the house which were a godsend in the heat.(the weather was just gorgeous all week) unfortunately we didn't get to use the Sauna as it was too hot outside. The owners who were near the house were only a phone call away and totally respected your privacy. All in all a fab week and would totally recommend.

This is a gem of a place with fabulous views. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to prepare a proper meal. The bed & sofa are very comfortable & everything was spotlessly clean. We arrived in the middle of a full on heatwave, fans were left on for us & once we opened the bi folds we were very comfortable. Very good quality hot tub. Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the sauna on this occasion as the weather was just too hot. We loved watching the cows in the field, very entertaining! We’ve already booked our next stay.
