Guests praise the friendly staff, excellent location near Brighton and local amenities, and the tranquil atmosphere ideal for relaxation. The lodge is noted for being dog-friendly and accessible, with thoughtful touches such as welcome baskets mentioned by several guests. Minor drawbacks include limited ventilation during hot weather and a request for gated decking for pets. Overall, guests highly recommend Cedar Lodge and frequently express a desire to return.

Cleanliness is repeatedly highlighted as exceptional, with numerous guests describing the lodge as spotless, immaculate, and the cleanest they have experienced. No significant negative comments were made regarding cleanliness.

The location is widely praised for its proximity to Brighton, local shops, transport links, and a garden centre, while still offering a peaceful and private environment. Only minor mentions of road proximity were noted, but these did not detract from the overall positive impression.

Guests consistently mention comfortable beds, spacious interiors, and a relaxing atmosphere. A few reviews note discomfort during hot weather due to limited ventilation, but overall comfort remains a strong point.

The lodge is described as very well equipped, with modern amenities, good Wi-Fi, and thoughtful extras such as logs for the fire. Some guests suggested improvements for pet owners and ventilation, but facilities are otherwise highly rated.

Several guests appreciated welcome baskets with tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits, as well as logs for the fire. While these thoughtful touches are frequently mentioned, please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

Another wonderful stay at Cedar Lodge, the Lodges are beautiful, spacious, modern and secluded. Perfect for our family. Lots of local pubs and shops and main supermarket short drive away. Fabulous Garden Centre next door which has a coffee shop, Restaurant and deli, local beers and wines and everything else you could possibly think of. Great position to explore this part of the Country.

A lovely, lovely place. So peaceful at the end of a day out. We saw a fox and 2 different kinds of woodpecker from the lodge. Would definitely go back (which I never say). Great location, ideal for Brighton and many other surrounding towns and villages. Highly recommend
