Neat and compact and furnished to a high standard, this Bath self-catering apartment would suit a couple wanting to explore the nearby city but preferring a rural retreat to relax in after a day spent sightseeing. Well laid out interior, though the stairs are a little steep, but manageable (our dog had a little trouble, but she's clumsy at the best of times) and it's great that there's a gate at the top! Living room is spacious and comfortable, bedroom is a little compact around the bed, but well fitted with cupboards, but what a lovely view to wake up to! Kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils. Lots of little notes on how to use the appliances, etc, which was great, and a folder in the kitchen explaining the recycling bins (useful as they're different everywhere!) and hints for things to do during your stay, plus useful information for everything from pubs, eating out to emergency contacts. Also plenty of reading material and tourist leaflets to peruse. Didn't get to use the garden, as it was October, but it looks like a delightful area to sit out during the warmer summer evenings. The owner seemed most diligent to detail which enhanced an enjoyable few nights stay !

We spent a week here, would highly recommend using the buses, they are very frequent and Ruth provided an envaluable tool - her 'blue book' which had lots of very, very useful information in and a local walking map, which was great and very useful, especially as we had dogs with us and a great way to view the local area. Highly recommended - thank you for a great stay.

Clean and comfortable with everything we needed, wish we could've stayed longer. The little self contained garden was great and we would happily have sat out there if it wasn't for the rain!
