Driftwood - 54 Valley Lodge is a pet-friendly, reverse-level retreat situated in St Ann's Chapel, Cornwall. Boasting a hot tub, a barbecue, two Amazon Firesticks, and games consoles, this property is perfect for a group of friends or a family wanting a getaway. Upon entering the property, you will be greeted by four lovely bedrooms on the ground floor. The first is a spacious super-king-size room, perfect for catching your night's sleep. The second and third are both inviting doubles, one of which boasts a TV with an Amazon Firestick for your entertainment. This room also benefits from an en-suite with a bath and a shower over for either a lovely soak or a refreshing wash. The fourth bedroom is fitted with an adult bunk bed, ideal for additional guests. In the garden decking area is a hot tub, which is ideal for those who want soothing bubbles whilst watching the golden sunset beyond. A shower room completes the ground floor to start those mornings in the best way possible. Venture upstairs to the first floor, where you will find an open-plan living space. Make a bite to eat using the electric oven or head outside to bask in the sun and use the barbecue on the decking area. Wash the food down with a drink, looking out onto the view, then grab your seat on the sofa first or be the one who gains control of the Amazon Firestick to find the perfect show for everyone to watch. Go up against one another on the Xbox or the Nintendo Wii for fun nights of entertainment. Then see out the evenings with a film thanks to a selection of DVDS on offer. Head and about to visit the National Trust, Cotehele, stepping back in history to a preserved Tudor house with extensive collections and stunning gardens. Let your little ones get up close with the charming residents of The Tamar Valley Donkey Park, or explore the scenic views of the Bohetherick farm with an unforgettable Alpaca Trekking experience, making new furry friends everywhere you go. A short drive will take you to Plymouth, where you’ll be welcomed by the National Marine Aquarium with its variety of exhibits and underwater creatures. Continue your stroll into the city to discover Central Park for a perfect picnic spot and the splendid Royal William Yard for some wining and dining whilst enjoying the stunning sea views. The Dartmoor National Park is nearby too, with plenty to do. Plan out the ideal walk for you with plenty of scenic trails on offer, try your hand at some horse riding, or have a go at watersports with the chance to go canoeing. Reflect on your memorable adventures as you sink back into the hot tub under a blanket of stars at 54 Valley Lodge.
St Ann’s Chapel is a small hamlet situated in the South Hams area of Devon, England, between the towns of Modbury and Kingsbridge. Within this small hamlet, you will find a good local shop and The Pickwick Inn, a charming pub serving food. Less than three miles away is Bigbury on Sea a village with a large sandy beach (surf school, cafe) and stretching to Burgh Island (famous art deco hotel, setting for Agatha Christie novels). Good golf course at Bigbury. The South West Coast Path is worth exploring as is the real ale pub in the nearby coastal village of Ringmore. A little further afield the traditional market town of Kingsbridge sits at the head of the many creeked Kingsbridge Estuary (boat trips), and plays host to a number of independent shops, cafes, restaurants, art galleries and antique shops. Further afield sensational Salcombe at the mouth of the Kingsbridge estuary with its many cove beaches and boutique shops is worth a visit. St Ann’s Chapel is a picturesque hamlet, and a perfect base for exploring this diverse and interesting area.
