Nice site in good location. Uncomfortable beds due to old mattresses; not enough cutlery etc and out of date information folder (2005). No instructions on recycling rubbish. Curtains are very thin in bedrooms and kitchen blind was broken and tied up. Very disappointing. Have not stayed with Sykes before and wouldn’t stay in one of their cottages again if this is the standard.

An engineer had to be called out on the 3rd day to sort the water tank. The shower head attachment was also broken which wasn’t ideal. If it hadn’t been for the hot water issue, which prevented us from washing for the first few days we would have really enjoyed the stay. This inconvenience did really impact our enjoyment of our time in Falmouth and the owners have declined to provide any compensation, which again, wasn’t ideal.
