Gull's View in Looe, Cornwall, is a well-regarded holiday cottage praised for its stunning views, peaceful setting, and dog-friendly policy. Guests have enjoyed the comfortable and well-equipped accommodation, though some noted the parking space is tight for larger vehicles. The property's location offers great walking opportunities, despite the steep return walk. While there were minor issues with cleanliness and maintenance, the overall experience has been positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
The property generally seems well-maintained, though there was an instance of dog mess in the garden upon arrival and a mention of no broom or hoover for dog hair. These isolated incidents suggest room for improvement in cleanliness.
The location is highly praised for its beautiful views and proximity to walking paths and the town. The steep walk back up may not suit everyone, but overall, the location is considered excellent.
Guests have found the house comfortable, with a good night's sleep reported and a welcoming atmosphere. However, suggestions for a larger bed and issues with a low garden fence for dogs indicate some areas could be more comfortable.
While the house is described as well-equipped, there are several maintenance issues mentioned, such as parking space size, a jammed front door, and a problematic washbasin. Without more information on the range of facilities provided, a precise score cannot be given.
There are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate the level of thoughtfulness. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

The location was very good and the view was stunning
Darren
Excellent well maintained property, exactly as advertised, within walking distance of the town, walking back up the hill may not be to everyoneâs liking but we didnât find it any problem and the dogs loved the walk and the property in general

we .only one set of keys to the patio that worked, and the washbasin in the main bathroom wouldn't retain water. Otherwise a very pleasant and comfortable stay.
