Set in the centre of the bustling fishing port of Looe, just 20 yards from the quayside and a few minutes' walk from the sandy East Looe Beach is Quayside Cottage, a contemporary and cosy cottage, boasting wonderful harbour views, ideal for a couple or small group wanting to enjoy a beach holiday and to explore Cornwall's heritage coastline. Parking is available in a public car park, just five minutes' walk away, while a luggage trolley and porter service is available on arrival, should you need it. Enter the property to discover a welcoming sitting room, with two inviting teal sofas to relax onto as you flick on the 55" Smart TV and peruse the Sky channels, or pick a movie on Sky Cinema so you can enjoy a night in, with the ceiling spotlights adding a cosy feel to the room.

Move upstairs into the bright kitchen/diner, boasting sleek white units, A-frame ceilings and a host of appliances to enable you to cook delicious meals to be enjoyed at the dining table, which has been thoughtfully set for four; there's even a coffee machine for your morning caffeine fix. When sleep is calling, retire to one of two bedrooms; a king-size double with a seating area and balcony overlooking the harbour, along with a double bedroom, both of which boast contemporary en-suite shower rooms with double showers. Venture into the bustling centre of East Looe to find a host of shops for your essentials, as well as pubs and restaurants, if you don't feel like cooking, right on your doorstep.

The wonderful and sandy East Looe Beach is a few minutes' walk away, boasting golden sand, safe swimming, watersports activities and wildlife watching, making it a wonderful spot for families and groups to spend an afternoon in the sunshine. Watch boats enter and leave the picturesque harbour, hop on a boat to Looe Islands to visit the bird and wildlife sanctuary, and learn more about the local history of the area at the Old Guildhall Museum and Gaol. Peruse a myriad of inns, restaurants and cafes that line the waterside, filled with delicious local produce and traditional ales, and cross the River Looe by water taxi to the quieter but stunning West Looe, which boasts a heritage centre.

Keen walkers and cyclists can enjoy easy access to the South West Coast Path, exploring the Polperro Heritage Coastline towards the idyllic fishing harbour of Polperro, home to the Polperro Model Village, a miniature replica with its own railway, as well as heritage museum and sheltered beach, resting alongside the harbour walls. Slightly further along the coast is the National Trust's Lantic Bay, a fascinating network of winding paths boasting rugged headland and coastal views, along with a handful of mysterious and beautiful coves to explore. The well-known attractions of Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are within easy reach, while nearby Liskeard boasts a wildlife park & sanctuary, meaning there are plenty of day out opportunities to be had from this idyllic Looe holiday cottage.

The fishing port of Looe boasts a lively maritime bustle around East Looe's quay area, which is connected by a seven arched 19th century bridge to the quieter West Looe, just across the River Looe. East Looe has narrow cobbled streets, twisting alleyways and plenty of shops, whilst West Looe has a lovely outlook across the harbour. Looe Beach is a sandy expanse that is extremely popular with families and adjoins the pier.
