At low tide, you can enjoy breathtaking walks all the way to Crantock Beach, or even go horse riding along the sandbanks – all just a few steps away through your garden gate. The property’s direct access to the water is a standout feature that truly enhances the experience.

The enclosed, river-facing garden is ideal for alfresco breakfasts, relaxed lunches, or evening barbecues with the estuary as your backdrop.

Sleeping up to eight guests across four beautifully appointed bedrooms, each room features plush beds dressed in crisp cotton linens, wool throws, and generous wardrobe space.

The open-plan kitchen and dining room is equipped with high-end appliances and a Smart TV, and opens directly onto the terrace – allowing the chef to stay connected with guests while enjoying the view. A separate, spacious lounge offers a second Smart TV, inviting sofas, and an electric stove-effect fire, creating a cosy atmosphere ideal for winter breaks. Guests are welcome to log in to their own Netflix or Amazon Prime accounts for a personalised entertainment experience.

For wet weather days, the indoor garage includes a multi-games table with air hockey and billiards – perfect for keeping everyone entertained.

For avid walkers, the South West Coast Path passes in both directions along a stunning coastline of high cliffs, hidden coves and yet more beaches. The quaint harbour and fishing village of Padstow is just 14 miles away, while Truro, with its museums, cathedral, restaurants, and cobbled streets, as well as the Eden Project, can be reached within a short drive. Picturesque St Ives and the Tate St Ives gallery is just a train ride away. In fact, because nothing in Cornwall is far from Newquay, it’s the perfect touring base.
